Arguably one of the world’s best dive spots, Fish Head is situated in North Ari Atoll and offers divers the opportunity to see a large school of grey reef sharks, along with other marine life like fusiliers, large Napoleons and hungry barracuda. This dive site also features stunning caves, black corals and undersea rock formations.

Mushimasmingili Thila is a very wide area, protected as a marine park, and the SE corner is known as The Fish Head. This was a classic shark fishing point, but not anymore since the area was protected. Usually is easy to find grey reef sharks here among other fishes. The top of the reef is 10m deep. The southern side of the reef drop down to +40m.
The diving is concentrated in the "Fish head" area, with a square-shaped reef about 80m wide. In one dive, with not very strong current is possible to circle the whole thila. There are a lot of overhangs, ledges and caves. The best sides are north and west, with some caves at more depth. The best moment for sharks is on the up-current side of the thila (the current point). Is easy to hold on some overhangs and see them closely. If the diver does not move very much, the curiosity will bring them close.
